Invega - antipsychotic drug (neuroleptic)
Paliperidone is centrally acting antagonist of dopamine D2 - receptors, possessing also high antagonism towards serotonin 5-NT2 - receptors. Besides, paliperidone is antagonistic for both alfa1 - alfa2- alpha-adrenergic receptors and Í1- histamine receptors.
Indications
Schizophrenia, including recrudescence period;
Preventive treatment recrudescence of schizophrenia
Contra-indications
Hypersensitivity to paliperidole, risperidone, and also to any auxiliary component of the preparation.
Validity period – 2 years.
