It can be prescribed for vestibular neuritis and may be useful in preventing embryos from being rejected when in vitro fertilization procedure is performed.

Depo-Medrol tablets are administered by mouth in a dose prescribed by the doctor. It is necessary to receive your dosage at one and the same time each day to maintain an even level of the drug in your blood and avoid overdosing. Gradual dose tapering is necessary when stopping the drug to prevent severe side effects that occur after the natural production of cortisol by adrenal glands has been ceased.
